Dr. Wynne grew up horse-obsessed and riding western pleasure in Grand Forks, ND before leaving to pursue her veterinary education. After earning her bachelor’s in animal science from Cornell University in 2011, she spent three years as a veterinary assistant at Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic in Salinas, CA. During this time she also volunteered at the Marine Mammal Center in Moss Landing, CA on the weekends for fun, giving emergency nursing care to stranded sea lions and elephant seals. She then pursued her interest in veterinary ophthalmology and endocrinology at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, earning a Master’s in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences in 2016. She completed her DVM with a focus on equine medicine at Kansas State University in 2020. Following veterinary school she spent time in Atlanta, GA working for Lifeline Animal Project, the city’s largest network of animal shelters. In 2024 she returned to the Grand Forks area to raise her two children near family and friends.

In her spare time, Dr. Wynne enjoys biking, snowboarding, and being outdoors with her husband and two children. She also loves to spend time with her horse Rigel and scruffy terrier mix Colonel Milkbone.

Dr. Wynne is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the North Dakota Association of Equine Practitioners, the American Veterinary Medical Association.
